How much are we supposed to involve ourselves with what happened? Is it really alright to honor the deaths of people so openly racist, and remember it as freedom of speech? I'm not sure that if today it was 12 members of the KKK who died, it would have the same feeling.
Execution obviously wasn't a fair response, but really, I'm not sure how I feel about any of this.
